Social Networking via the Web has opened up a whole new world of global interaction with fellow quilters. Many will become involved with the swaps, bees and competitions that flood the internet but it is a rare blessing to receive an unexpected handmade gift.
I have been one such lucky person.
Recently, I received a gift from
Tracey made with the gorgeous
Marmalade fabrics and Camille for Moda. I know Tracey from The
QCA on FB, Twitter and Blog Land. Tracey is a talented quilter with a gentle soul. I hope one day we can meet up.

The other lovely surprise I received in the mail today was this groovy bag from
Mary in Ohio. Mary won some gorgeous text fabric at
Lilysquilts and I expressed that I was extremely jealous of her bounty. (I am in love with text fabrics at the moment. They make such interesting backgrounds). Guess what, Mary used some of the fabric to make me this. Eeek! I am so lucky.
I will treasure these forever. Love you both x
You were a very lucky quilter to receive such nice gifts.
